Below is a visualization and description of some of the most significant incidents of political violence in Nigeria from February 11 to February 17, 2023. This update also represents violence related to Boko Haram in Cameroon, Chad, and Niger. These incidents are included in the Nigeria Security Tracker.

• February 11: Bandits killed five police officers in Gurara, Niger State.
• February 11: Communal violence led to one death in Omala, Kogi.  
• February 12: Bandits killed five in Fakai, Kebbi. 
• February 12: A cult clash resulted in eight deaths in Gboko, Benue. 
• February 13: One gunman was killed during an attack on a police station in Idemili North, Anambra. 
• February 14: Kidnappers abducted fifteen National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members in Ihiala, Anambra.  
• February 14: A cult clash resulted in nine deaths in Ahoada East, Rivers. 
• February 14: Gunmen killed 2 and abducted "others" (est. at five) in Kuje, Federal Capital Territory. 
• February 15: Security forces killed three protesters in Oredo, Edo. 
• February 15: Gang violence resulted in three deaths in Nembe, Bayelsa. 
• February 15: Electoral violence resulted in one death in Edu, Kwara. 
• February 16: Troops killed seven bandits in Chikun, Kaduna. 
• February 17: Cultists killed three Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) workers in Aba, Abia. 
• February 17: Electoral violence resulted in three deaths in Ilesha, Osun. 
• February 17: Security forces killed three protesters in Obafemi-Owode, Ogun.
